How is this still an issue?
Somebody help me out, i took a 14 day free trial and got billed for a full freaking year from the start of the trial, i write to them, no reply, what kind of bs is this i want my money back, anybody have an idea how to escalate all of this ? i also note that i canceled the subscription maybe minutes after the initial subscription.

That sounds like an apple billing issue. You can start a refund request here.

If that is the case, and you have cancelled the subscription through the Apple App Store and have tried to request a refund through the link provided, then the next step would be to contact SoloLearn through email at info@sololearn.com. After sending the email, please wait patiently for a response if you have already took that step.
Last resort would be to contact your bank. But I think it would be better to give sololearn more time to repond.

I think you can report to Google.
My understanding is that Sololearn are pretty responsive.

I subscribed through an iphone, i did contact them since its just has to be an issue or something just went wrong, they havent replied yet, i cant find any terms on the free trial, it just billed me after canceling even though the free trial period hasnt run out, not even 10 hours have passed since

i’ve checked apple has no part in this, its my banks and sololearns fault

i’ve contacted sololearn and my bank, sololearn has not reaponded to my email, however the charge is held by my bank as a “blocked amount”, if sololearn doesnt reapond to the transaction aka the end of the trial i suppose, the amount will be refunded to me by my bank, however i just need a confirmation from sololearn so the bank can refund it asap, they’ve reaponded on facebook not on email though, so i’ll wait for now, not much i can do anyways.
to be fair it still is sololearns fault, they shouldnt have charged until the free trial ends or at the very least let me know beforehand.
