Would it be more advantageous or disadvantageous to begin including profile hyperlinks to code we make on Sololearn?

For instance, sharing the hyperlink to my profile or Profile 34796 after my current username to showcase that I created a code. As members change usernames and icons, I see how this could be helpful, but I'm not sure if this could spell out security concerns in the future as well

Fenix B Monsanto I personally don't see any issue with hyperlink-ing to your profile or your primary portfolio code as it is your work. I would also maybe include say a #url-tail ( c2Xo20ZWf0V2 ) class or id in your css code which goes to your specific time consuming work. Maybe in your js use "P-34796" maybe as your id verses say "home" "demo" or whatever. Let's not leave out getting a hex or utc timestap which should align with your creation date. Example: P-34796TS75r8774478 https://code.sololearn.com/cYHcQR39OqIW/?ref=app

It happened in the past that the url address structure for user profiles / profile images was changed by Sololearn. This is not a public API so it is not guaranteed to work for ever. Even if you change your user name, your codes will still be listed under your profile. And opening your code, people can already click your profile to see the rest of your codes and activity, so I don't see a lot of benefit here. You cannot really protect the code from copying by others and plagiarizing either, they could just remove the original credits and references, even though this is against the guidelines of SL and we always promote to add your sources and refer to the original creators, as you have done very decently in your public codes. But some people just don't get the message, which can result in the removal of their code or their account by the moderators.
