Why does it make me restart a whole lesson if the app freezes at the end?

I’m on the pro trial. More than once I will go through the lesson then at the very end it says “takeaways” etc and then the bottom button just freezes and doesn’t advanced me. Then it makes me restart the whole module when I have to force quit. Why on earth doesn’t the app just have a state variable that is aware of the fact that I got to the very end and just resume me from there?

A junior dev could easily implement this improvement. Hire me to do it!

They've tried to revamp the app completely like the courses and everything. They currently don't have that feature but you can leave your feedback so that they can implement this in the future.
