If you're going to make games you will need to know all of the basic concepts so it will help you start your journey. You will likely need to go on to a more advanced course afterwards.

Yep absolutely, there is a lot to learn, get yourself a notepad and dig in! Good luck 👍

Use your notepad (the paper kind with a pen) to keep notes of what you learn 😉

Hi im a unity dev, id learn just the beginner course and then go to unity tutorials, programming languages in game engines are like 10% vanila for example you cant declare a color in C# its something that unity itself adds on top of C#.
However the advanced course does teach you useful things but to get started id recommend just the beginner lessons.

You can ask me any questions any time

Sololearn teaches C# but not Unity. It's a good starting place to branch out from as you need to.

Ok, thanks to all of you for all the help. But one last question is the notebook needed and in what way do I use the notebook?

i wish it would, but i think the new reform they did help a lot to html and JavaScript help to understand object oriented programing and algorithm thinking, which that actually matters most. Also you need to check out CS50 on youtube, you can still sign up, its a computer science class from harvard that is free

If you are beginning game dev and don't know programming languages I recommend you to turn into Unreal Engine. Trust me, I wanted to begin with Unity but as soon as I started Unreal Engine I've uninstalled Unity, it's a lot easier to learn and a more powerful engine and if you want to use real programming language instead of blueprint (that is powerful enough to program an entire game) you can still use C++ in Unreal.

I wanted to learn Unreal but my laptop is super crappy and I don't think Unreal Engine would work on it

Because of the crazy graphics

Oh ok, you can still try to see if it works

Check on internet is there is a way to optimise Unreal to make is uses less performance
