Strange courses

Question

I went to the tab with Data Science courses yesterday. There were several courses. In theory, you need to go through all of them to get knowledge about the field. However, in all these courses, roughly speaking, the same thing. Conditional «programming for data» will first teach you Python a few blocks, and only then will it move on to working with data. However, this is all in the «SQL - Entry Level» course. What’s the point of all this if I’ve conditionally taken a Python course?

I disagree with Sololearn's approach of splicing existing courses to make new courses. It's just disappointing and frustrating when you find out after enrolling that there's no new material there.

If they want to make various guided curricula, that should be done in a different higher-order structure than a course. Similar to a major at college, which suggests or prescribes a list of courses you should take.

The courses have the name "Data Science" in it I know of are (were) "Data Science" and "Python for Data Science". And there also is (was) a "Machine Learning" course related to data science.
PS. Above courses are now hidden and not available to new users at the moment.

And here are the course structures. However, I can't see there is anything similar to «programming for data» (Coding for Data I guess?)

Would you please provide a screenshot of the course you mentioned?
I would like to see if it is another hidden course, or any updated / version up.

It is understandable.
I think Coding for Data gives the learner a peek at what SQL and Python can offer, and let the learner recognize which field they are interested most and continue to study on that field.

Basically, Coding for Data is a combination of Introduction to Python and Introduction to SQL. After finishing this course, you can jump to the related Intermediate course.

SL should mention this at the beginning, although a quick review is not a bad option either.

Yes, it’s Coding for Data. I think this mistake was made because I use a translator from Russian to English
