Why do PRO users need to pay for the new AI course?
To Sololearn staff This sounds strange for me but pro users are paying users and what is the point for pay more for the new AI course? Like most of the newly implemented interactions in AI course are transferred from the Brilliant app, and I am really cannot understand what is unique stuff is burried inside this new course we should pay for?

Sololearn team rarely watches these forums, and I do not find it likely that they want to disclose details of their business strategy here. You should write an email to info@sololearn.com maybe you will get some sort of answer.

I don't speak for Sololearn, but it seems to me they put in a lot of effort and expense over and above their regular course offerings. If you have tried their sample GenAI lessons, then you likely know what I mean. If you haven't tried them, then you should. See if it is worthy of paying more for it.

Brian I have tried the free tier and found some new interactions and the ability to chat with LLM. If they decided to use the OpenAI API for that so probably having additional income will cover the costs, but right now there are plenty of solutions how to minimize such costs.
My bet here: Sololearn team should focus on increasing the number of their paying customers and this new course is the right trigger for free users to change their plan to PRO.
Like “become the PRO user now and get brand new AI course”

I assume SL has to pay OpenAI for using ChatGPT. That mean even if there is no user paying for the course, SL still have to pay the license fee. You can think of SL is transferring the cost to the user who pay for the course while making profit.
Compare to the regular course, they created the material or used the freely available libraries, thus does not require additional cost to provide services.
As a regular user, there is something I don't understand.
If a person cannot see what the course is offering, how can that person decide joining it or not?
At least they let us peek the syllabus before joining...

I thought there are more courses (Intermediate) about GenAI, and I was wrong.
After reviewing the syllabus again, I got a feeling "Machine Learning", "Data Science" and "Python for Data Science" will not return. It seems they are integrated into the later chapters.
"Python for Finance" is a question mark, though. It seems fit into the last chapter but not all.
