Working on app but not browser

Question

I updated my code here and it’s working on my phone but on the browser it isn’t working. When I click on “color” I lose everything, can someone explain to me what’s going on?

fixing these won't change the behavior.

you are asking for a hex color, but what if user enters invalid data? or enters a # symbol as well? or if forgets to add # at the beginning?
