Not C++, not Objective-C, not C# nor Java or any other language but plain old C.

The C language was created around 1969 and is close to 50 years old today without having that many changes. A lot of other languages have been built on top of the C syntax and functionality and C is still used heavily for creating various operating systems and applications.
