You are in the best age to begin professional programming. Just remember don't try to learn too many languages at the same time. Take a field and start your engine. Web, Windows or open source... Also remember learning a language is not the end each one has multiple frameworks that you might have to learn as well. There are lots of dragons you have to defeat in this journey. But you might be the one. Maybe you are the next Bill Gates or Rossum. Who knows?!

if you learn and practice constantly then yes. most important thing is to stay persistent. sometimes you might think its too hard and u wanna give up, but still. keep going
