What's your favorite language and why?

Just wondering, programming can be a very vast world, what's your favorite language and why?

HTML because I like web programming

All time - Pascal / Delphi - clear syntax, easy to read and write, it's almost like speaking to the computer.
At the moment JavaScript - very versatile, enormous community, countless libraries 😃

Python because of the standard library and its easy and clear yet so powerful.

Java since, I am learning this as my school syllabus. Also PHP since I knows its basic and found it easy as Server Side Scripting language.

Lua because it has a great syntax

I recently started learning Java and so far I like it a lot, since it can run on anything and you really don't have to port it to be multiplatform.
