How Do People Get Their Codes so Popular?

Question

It seems amazing to me how out of the blue someone's code gets tons of people on it. How?

If it gets enough people's attention in a short timespan, it gets higher in the Trending. Once it gets to the first page in Trending... woo-hoo, there it goes!
Another story is when it gets featured, like Burey's code today. All of a sudden it comes out of the depth and... the author has to find a mobile power charger quickly 🔌

just disable the notifications 😂 I had to do that when I was featured. that's why I have so many followers...
being featured either as person or by a trending post or code is the best advertisement here. you'll get new followers and tons of upvotes in the blink of an eye. followers will see your codes on the main page which makes it likely that they upvote them. they become trending and therefore more popular.
the codes have to be good though. should be something special or unique. or something with teaching effect.
