How come I can't find the file for JDK after I downloaded it

after I downloaded the jdk following the steps, I could not find the file in my computer I only found jre1.8.0_121 also I waited almost 30 mins for the installation wizard and nothing happened I can't continue what should I do?????

Download jdk again, maybe you clicked on the wrong link?
