Any Eulerians here?
Is anyone here also on project Euler? If you are and look for achievements, solving the most recent problem has never been easier. Took me less than 10 minutes today. https://projecteuler.net/problem=601

I've seen people talk about it. Might turn up in a search. There are also several people here who have been posting challenges; look for Roman numerals in the trending lists.

Ooohhh thank you soooo much! I completely forgot about this site! I used it all the time when I was in school for Computer Science but I had forgotten what it was called! Many thanks!

Python is fine for almost everything and works particularly well for the problems you will find there. You don't need any in depth math knowledge in the beginning and can jump right in, the first 50 problems are very easy.
Most problems are very accessible and Wikipedia will help. That does not mean they are easy though... 😁

Hey, there! I'm really interested in starting Project Euler this summer - sorry if I'm kinda being out of topic here..(from fellow ENTP to ENTP right ;) ) - but I don't really know much about the prerequisites (technical or not). I heard Python is just fine for maths, is that right? Also, should I learn advanced math topics each time I conquer a few sets of challenges, or, as I've read somewhere, concepts of previous challenges serve as cornerstones for newer ones, hence not needing to learn novel math matters constantly... Thanks ^_^

Aw, thanks! That's all I need. After all, he who joins the Euler project never seeks facility so...it better be That hard ^_^
Math long and prosper!
