Ethical hacking? What language?

Question

If u need to be a ethical hacker, what programming language is to use to find some bugs on the website? then what programming language is use to patch the website and make it hard to hack and why choose this language? 🙂

You don't need to know any any programming languages to use Kali Linux , But knowing Bash/shell , Python , Pearl , Ruby , C , C++ Php and Java would help you . And be pro in Maths and Coding .

for ethical hacking, you don;t need to be a programmer, you need to know how networks work

the different types of networks, the equipment used in networking, the internet, how different ports operate, and finally the network security. A programming language may be the least of all help in being an ethical hacker

I Must say that you're wrong guys , Kali is not for beginners , you're introducing a GNU/Linux distribution here that is used professionally for penetration testing , now then
the user is already confused with bash and terminal and cmd itself , what about jumping from window or mac to linux ??? what about those installation processes that formats the hard drive in just a click!

you must know what are you looking for here
if you want to be an ethical hacker I recommend taking courses like lpic in order to achieve somewhere , but if you just want to try something new and have fun and expand your knowledge circle DO NOT INSTALL KALI LINUX
I mean it , because it's not something user friendly
instead you can install simple penetration apps and scripts for your running operating system , install python and try out some checks to see where's the security hole in your site , there are free services that do such thing already

as for Linux , if you're interested in this topic and think that it's a better OS (which it is obviously)
try reading some articles and understand what is open source and free software is

Un general you don't need to know an specific language, you must know how the Hosting servers work, the open ports in PC's. I recommend you to use the windows CMD and Linux bash to get info about webpages etc. I recommend you to use the OS Kali Linux, I use it, it's really cool and has lots of hacking tools.

hacking itself doesn't require programming knowledge
you can run a terminal and start using apps to target a device and use a payload script to exploit it , but I must say you need to cover basics of it , like what's a host , what's a server what's an ip or what is an exploit

but for those who want to do some evil shit with the knowledge of programming , Python is the best tool
