With new game engines coming out with mobile support, I would assume it's a variety of languages which then get turned into Java, since you typically need the jdk to start development with android.

C# using Xamarin in Microsoft Visual Studio 2017. check it out at either www.visualstudio.com or www.xamarin.com . C# is easier to program than the Java ides. Or you can use Unity which is specifically for game Dev. www.unity3d.com It also uses C# or Java.
