so 7.0 is a float? why? isnt that a whole number?

the 1st question on the floats section asks which would no be a float 7.0, 2/4 or 7. The correct answer is 7 explain?

its quite simple......@Matthew..... just in case of float u get a point(decimal) mark there .....i.e u get your answer in decimal points .... eg: only 7 is the integer(whole no)..... ..... but 7.0 is the float no. hope u got it .......😊

because of the decimal point, it is also called a floating point, so every number that has it is a float (or double)
