java will never dead. instead of replacing Java, Kotlin will be used side by side by programmer in the near future.

JAVA WILL eventually die.. nothing lasts forever.. with each update, Java boiler plate code increases... Java is 22 years old.. it won't survive the next decade

I don't think that Java will die soon. Oracle have just announced that it will make it an open source, you know that mean. Following trends to stay relevant is key as a programmer.
