Is there a good IDE that works well on the Windows 7 and is cheap or free

going to a bigger screen lol

which language. java = eclipse / netbeans c++ /c = code blocks / dev c++ c# / vb / c++ .. = visual studio community version and else Python , html , css , js use any text editor ( Atom , visual studio code) everything is free ^^

I use Atom for a text editor. It is the best one I have used so far. Notepad++ is not bad. Atom is easy to use, and has a lot of features and add ons.

my laptop starts up Windows 7 but is supposed to 10. Either I was lied to or I cannot access or find Windows 10 to save my life

You can get the upgrade from the microsoft site for free. Back up your data, if you choose to do it.
