How do you know you are ready for an entry level Web Developer Job?

any ideas on how to Gauge if you are truly ready

You should know at least HTML, CSS, some JavaScript, maybe jQuery, SQL and other things. My suggestion is to create a few sample websites as your portfolio.

Design a simple discussion forum template and run it in free server with no errors (I hope this is enough to be an entry level web developer)

thanks Riku I have been trying to learn as much as possible.. I don't graduate till fall of next year, but I'm trying to get a feel for what skill sets I need to invest my time in. thnx for the advice
