actually every language has its own limits at certain point.
That is the reason we move to new languages.
Well the answer to your question is:

first of all javascrit just deals with the user interface not with graphics. css and jquery is the place where u make effects and that to only web based level only.

If u ask about high end applications like gaming, movie making then more than one language is used for making a single movemt in display!!
i am not sure how many languages they use but they will utlize the best features in each programing language for best results.
