Can't gave color to table

Question

hey community,

First, I have tried to give color table as you see. after I noticed can t do it, tried to gave color data with <p>

I think understanding this point is very important to me for catch basic HTML if you can help I would glad.

thank you very much. its worked for data but as you can see table is still black. i tried to add "style" to table also but couldnt change table's color
