Knowledges have no limit but one life is not enough for feed thirst for knowledge, so... 5 or 6 could be a good number, as @Ace already wrote in a thread here on SoloLearn:
"Learn a language is easy,
master a language is the hard part".

As much as you can.
The passion and determination to learn makes everything easy for you.

Depends to the programmer. I can learn all but am not yet a programmer xD. But learning the different languages requires time can be learn is one step at a time.

Once you have a solid grasp on a single language of your choosing, learning other languages can be comparatively simple.
I am not yet skilled enough to call myself a programmer, but I started with Java and have worked hard towards understanding the basics.
Now, when I look at code written in other languages, I can make an educated guess as to what that code does and how it functions.
The best and biggest step you can take towards learning to be a good programmer in any language, is to train your brain to 'think' like a programmer.
To answer your question....As the others have said, knowledge has no limit, but I would agree that knowing 5-6 programming languages seems like a pretty realistic number for a determined learner.

There is probably no finite answer, because new languages are continually being developed. If you mean 'should you learn', then you first must say what you want to use them for.

It depends upon the zeal to learn, but time available ility also matters. Otherwise there is no limit on number of languages to learn. It's good to learn many but at the same time it is also important to master at least 2.

It depends on you. You can learn as many as you can but one at a time not all in one time.

Do the deep math learning is one thing but what can you do with is another thing ? what is your main purpose of learning ? what kind of contributions can you bring to society ?
