There's no real place you have to start... Like any language you can start anywhere. I would first familiarize yourself with some easy programming languages (scratch, python, ruby, etc.) and then go from there and make bits of code. Again it's like learning a "human/regular" language--learn the terms then form sentences and meaning from that.

A bit of a stupid question. But well. You don't want to learn bit and pieces of code, but you want to learn how to write and read code in one or more languages. --> if you are a total newbie to coding in general, read something like this: (https://www.codementor.io/codementorteam/beginner-programming-language-job-salary-community-7s26wmbm6) --> think about what you would like to do with you coding skills, like.. web-design, app-development or maybe some scientific stuff like data-science and deep learning --> google the topic in which you would like to work and do some research on the tool and languages used in this topic --> go for it, learn it, use it. ;) my personal advice would be -> go for C#, SQL, Python and start gaining knowledge about machine learning/deep learning --> thats the future.. and in this field there will be a massive need on experts soon(or already) regards, tobi
