What are the benefits of using ruby rather than python?

Question of taste, you could prefer one or the other: I definitly prefer Python, even if Ruby was charmed me with its web framework (Ruby on Rails)... but after trying them I was more charmed by Python, all the more that it provide most choice on web framework, as on module in general ^^

I think also, than the community and ecosystem [edit: btw, echo system was fun] of Python is more rich ;) ... but I doesn't have anything against Ruby and Ruby users/lovers ;P
