Will it be easier if I attend a school that teaches coding.

School often is the place when you earn a valid certificate
Sololearn often is the place when you earn basic knowledges
School is needed in most cases, Sololearn is replaceable... but helpful. ;)

If you can attend that school, then I would say you should attend that school. SoloLearn will get you as far as the basics. The school 🏫 will pick up after that.
Though for better results, first try to complete the SoloLearn courses so you know the fundamentals. Then all you have to do is pay attention in school and learn the advanced stuff.
This will help you get through the school 🏫 courses much faster since you already completed the Sololearn course. And as a bonus, you have all the help you need via this awesome community ☺

if that's an option, do both

School is obviously better option. Benefits:
*. Teacher to speak to and ask questions.
*. Valid certificate.
*. More comprehensive cover of topics.
*. Projects which may become part of your portfolio.
*. Referrals and recommendations.
Solo Learn is for us who cannot afford school, or do not have the transport, or do not have the time, or live in bad countries for learning. It's mostly for those who cannot commit to regular lessons for whatever reasons, personal or otherwise. So we learn in our time at our pace. It's more challenging without teachers or professors, but we've got a Q&A forum and StackOverflow. Self-learning also takes discipline. So if you have the time/money for school, don't waste it! Trust me I'm speaking from the experience of someone who could have gotten a bursary and gone overseas but had "issues" as a teenager. Don't live with regret.
