None. A hacker is somebody who likes to create/tinker electronically, but I'll assume for the sake of the thread you mean the two-dimensional image flaunted by Hollywood of a kiddy hunched over a luminescent green font terminal wreaking havoc. You need an understanding of networking, privileges, and shell commands. You need to know how a computer works, how the OS works, how two networked machines communicate... The list is exhaustive. You wanna be that awesome hoody-wearing, socially-challenged, systems breaker, then you need to *start* with a basic sysadmin course followed by an advanced one *while* you study the underlying principles you learn about in detail. Coding will help you, sure, Python, BASH, etc scripting to automate tasks but it's not a magic spell you learn to start waving your wand at every machine, yelling, "Havada Kadavera[?]" with a great success rate. It's understanding. As to being a real hacker and *not* the image touted by Hollywood, any language will do, though if you wanna program and play with your own PCBs, C is good bet as you'll find it compiles for most things, though it's not a criteria for being a hacker (by the original term, not after pop-culture murdered it like rap murdered music).

So what @neicore is trying to say is this : Whatever you want to hack, just learn the language(s) it is built on. It is simple as that 😂

@TakshakSH nope, I was saying is that when you have the knowledge of those languages learning hacking would be easier to you. Its like in Math you have to know the basic operations to actually carry on with other topics. I think you get me now😉
