What is your opinion on Automation and Robotics is they really harmful in future?

I think Automation will do all production then humans will only concentration on human production. Is their any other work for human except produce family.

We are programmers. We are doing automation so that other people don't have to put too much effort in their jobs.

Like Cars replaced Horses.
Email replaced Mail.
Guns replaced Swords.
and there are many examples on how we as a species try to make life easier so that we can follow our passions for studying, science and dreams.

Automating basic repeating actions are not a problem because that takes the boring bit out of the work, and you are left over with the fun bit.
But automating programmers will kill us :|
