Learn Java because this language will allow you to access all UI components programmatically. Additionally I would recommend looking for classes on XML as this will help you be able to understand and tweak the UI code within android studio's UI editor. However please note this editor does have graphical design tools as well. In terms of resources to access I would recommend The New Bostern's video tutorials for Java Programing as well as the Google supported udacity cource at https://www.udacity.com/course/advanced-android-app-development--ud855 The difference is that traditionaly Java is a cross platform general programing language where as Javascript a different language has been used for Web development. However it should be noted that Java can be used for backend Web development and Javascript can be used for applications development.

Learn Java. Learning programming isn't learning codes, it is learning how to write codes. from beginner to app developer is a long process. Don't skip lessons.

Kotlin is good, but sololearn doesn't do Kotlin yet. Python, C++, etc can do android app development, but while each lesson CAN do almost anything, there is generally one that is better than the other at each task. Java is the best bet right now for Android. feel free to learn any language you want, you can make apps with them.
