What is daily streak notification?

when I open up app, it's says, u r on 5 day streak, 10 day streak, why so?

You get XP for using the sololearn app everyday. if you just for a 10 day streak, tomorrow when you open the sololearn app you will be on an 11 day streak. if you don't go on sololearn for a few days, i will break your streak and when you come back you will be on day 1.
