Why are the pointers explained so difficultand why did no one even bother to include a real example.
Why not include a reallife programming samoke to show why and how to use those pointers. The info supplied herein are useless and way to complicated to understand for a starter anyway. So SOLO LEARN could you explain why make life difficult as it could be very easy going?

@Bittoo: No you did not wrong. I only try to point out that a lot of experienced programmers like to talk how to use pointers and how good they are and so on, my when you ask them to show a piece of code how to use them with a real life result. The fun is over...

@JPM7 Sorry but a game code doesn't do it. The only thing it shows is that it is only usanle for game developers which I am not nor others are who face the same dilemma as I do, but never had the nerve to ask just because they are afraid people would see them as stupid. I am not one of them. My credo is THERE ARE NO STUPID QUESTIONS ONLY STUPID ANSWERS. Sorry to disappoint you, but your answer doesn't do it. It is not the straight forward answer and example I am waiting for. 😆😆😆

@Bittoo: Thank you for the links, but two of them are completely useless and the third one is a link to c programming.com website which requires a lot of research before you find or do not find your answer. For a beginner pointers are not so difficult to grasp, but it is difficult to see the real life use of them. So why bother on an issue like pointers, if you probably never going to use them anyway, because no one showed you where and how they might have a unique use or advantage. Is it really that difficult to write a short piece if code with pointers used in them that actually show their results and use that can not be done with other techniques.
I like a response on my posting so a large group that understand how pointers work but don't find any use for them actually, do find a proper use and start to use them too. I am one of them... But keep in mind, I am an old timer in programming and understand the basics very well but nobody could convince me why and when to use those pointers.
