Web browser for visual studio code not showing up

Question

Ok, I'm having a problem trying to get the browser feature to work in vsc. I'm using a MacBook Pro with the newest software update. I installed the "view in default application" extension but I am not getting the browser to show up. I selected "command k, command b" multiple times but no web browser. I uninstalled and re-installed it twice but no luck. What am I missing, better yet what am I doing wrong? Appreciate any assistance...Peace!

Does vsc have a seperate installer like Visual Studio?

- if it does try the "repair" inside the installer

Sorry, vsc is visual studio code and it's the newest which I installed 4 days ago.
