I really enjoyed completing courses on SoloLearn and from time to time posting in the discussions. In a moment of aberration, I recently posted an answer here to the simple question above: What is the difference between notepad and notepad++? and I have heard people saying about notepad on windows but what is notepad++?

As the answers started coming in, some incorrect, such as Notepad++, being referred to as an IDE. Think about it, someone, who has never used Notepad++, would not know what an IDE was! In any case it is not. It is a text and source code editor, with many features.

Now my mobile is continually bleeping as new answers pour in - the downside of technology! Can anybody explain the point of all these days of answers, which have added almost nothing to the answers contributed in the first few hours?

Notepad++ is actually more an IDE while Notepad is only a text editor... For that you can write and see much more integrated development in Notepad++
