Why sometimes streaks are broken (n Day Streaks)? Is it a bug? Does anybody else have same issues?

I've got my streak broken about a week ago, while being even active at previous day in sololearn (Q/A or code comments). Today I've got a new count of n day streak again (I'm on the first day of a new streak). But yesterday, 11 hours ago I played a challenge! So how is that? There was a strange behavior before because sometimes when I was leaving an app not closed for 2 day I wasn''t getting that message "You're on the n-th day of x day streak". So I was closing an app and starting it again to "check in".

I dont care much about those "free XP" lost because of this issues, but I do (somehow) like finding bugs... (should go (in)to QA may be? ☺ but I like to try do develop myself in nearest future first)
