What languages are the most popular websites written in? [INFO THREAD]

Question

Some people may be more motivated for programming when they see real results, so I wanted to point out some websites that are written with help of certain languages and frameworks. (Note: I ommit frontend languages):

Python/Django: instagram.com

Ruby/Ruby on Rails: twitter.com (Twitter developers have created Bootstrap)

PHP: facebook.com (Fb developers wrote React for frontend. They started off with pure php, but now they use really many languages e.g. Haskell for spam finding bot)
