Why did you choose your coding language?

I didn't know the advantages of the different languages and still am unsure but knew that C++ was more in depth than others and I wanted to have as much knowledge as possible. It's also very versatile I believe? Further, the TitanTwo. (a device where you can modify gaming outputs) was ported from C++. I know that I can also learn C from C++ but it's more of a challenge to learn C++ from C knowledge. Why did you choose your coding language? What benifits does your chosen language have?

Originally I learned C++ to hack games and other software. C++ has lots of low level but also high level concepts, which is why I chose it
