which programing language to learn after java,so that it enhances your skills even more and makes you a more desirable programmer for a recruiter?how many languages should a programmer need to master to be successful in IT industry?

there isn't specific point of ways you be successful in IT industry , for example if anyone tells you certain steps of things to do it won't guarantee you success and also I think it's not about the number of prog languages you know (I'm not saying they aren't necessary ) but how much you know about that one language ... not just the formulas but to master Java for example , playing making apps with it until you are sure then moving to the next then sticking with it until nothing left that you don't know ... then trust me you'll have hard time of choosing ways (Coz there week be lot of them ). additionally you should be familiar with - web development ( html CSS JavaScript ) - databases ( SQL ) - networking knowledge - and others depending your working environment

I agree with henock. But I learned that if you learn one language, others will be easier to learn. If you are aiming for a job in the IT field, a good language to learn for simple apllications for a computer is Visual Basic. I suggest getting Visual studio which has VB and C# and is wonderful once you get to know it!
