You are 15 years old, which is the best time to learn programming. If you continue learning passionately, when you are old enough to have a job, you'll already know a lot more than most of other people. Whether you should have programming as your main source of income or not, depends on you, but also where you live: if you live in a country where such skill isn't searched for, you maybe won't find a job there, but considering the flexibility of programming as a job, you can easily work over the internet as a freelancer or with a full-time job. So the short answer is: Yes, you should definitely choose programming as your career.

Healthcare big data is the next frontier. Keep on programming and learn about medecine related data and advanced maths/stats. If you are good enough on both you can change the world more than by being just a doctor or a programmer.

You can have a career as a doctor, but you can also learn programming in your free time! I mean, languages like Python are relatively simple to understand and learn, so they can even help you in your work as a doctor! Of course, if you want programming to be your career, you should talk to your parents about it. If you are good at it, mention it too! Also parents like to think a lot about money and if your job is profitable, so you can show them on some freelancing websites how well these jobs are paid.

Yes! It's a very nice decision! This is hard, but well paid job. Also your age is great to learn. You'll be fine, just never give up!
Good luck!

I am 13 years old, but I started programming when I was 11. I was very excited and I learned using game creation IDE "GameMaker Studio". GMS uses scripting language which is simillar to C#. I started to make games on Windows... Mac... Linux... Android... and iOS. But 3 months ago I wanted to check my abillities and I started learning C# and Java. Why? Because I got another IDE- Unity3D. And these two languages are required in this IDE. I can also create webpages in HTML/JS/CSS and I think I want to be game developer in the future and I think it is a good decision. :)
Also I love creating own soundtracks to games and I am very interested in art. I love creating graphics etc...

Think about how you want your future job to look like.
Being a programmer means you are sitting most of the time in a office behind a desk. But you can create beautifull things.
If you can't sit still that is not the job for you.
Laywer is also an office job.
Docters sit in the office a lot but are also doing a lots of other things.
You have time to explore what you like.
But I suggest you find area which also has your attention.
Do you want to program for the medical world or for the industry, do you like analysing data or are you more creative person to make websites.
Do something you like, you have to do it for a really long time so you should make it as fun as you can.
