Is python good for modeling and simulation?

guys i am a transportation and traffic engineer. i have no knowledge of programming languages. so it would be a great help if any1 can answer my question. also is it helpful for my field

from scratch you will always have the canva at your disposal + third party libs

else py can be considered as a matlab replacement, so nice for sims

else if you really want intensive simulations, going for a game engine (3d stuffs etc) might be better

so for an accurate answer, can you please elaborate some more on the nature of your simulations?
