I need a little advice. I can't seem to keep my mind on one idea at a time.

I just realized I have tons of unfinished codes. I spend a lot of time working on stuff but then I slowly lose focus and end up starting an entirely different project. Its been forever since i finished something. Do any of you ever have this problem? How can I stick to a goal and be more productive?

This happened to me when I started my first bigger project. At first, I would code daily for hours, but then I started skipping days every so often and as time went on I lost interest in the project and, in the end, I just quit that project altogether. I found out that the best thing for me seems to be splitting one big project into lots of smaller parts, and then splitting those small parts into even smaller parts, until you can't split them anymore, so every time you finish one of those smaller codes, you'll get a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment and you'll finish the project much faster. That worked for me, I don't know if you'll find it useful, but it at least help you stay organized. Good Luck!

This happened to me as well. I think if you have an idea for another code you should just include it in the code you are currently working on. If you are starting to lose interest in the project you are working on, I suggest you change it a bit, or make it slightly simpler so you can get it done faster, and start a new project. Say you are doing a website, but you are getting bored with it, you can always just change it into a blog type thing. If you really just can't focus on it anymore, I don't think that you can actually do anything about it. However, perhaps you can set a goal, like to not start another project until you have finished the one you are working on. I hope this helped and wasn't too hard to understand.
