From 1996 or 1997, my first lines of code were in FoxPro when I was in high school. I've been actively coding since 2003 as a software developer.

I started coding the better part of a year ago. I've learned quite a bit, the largest project I've made is just over 500 lines of code. It's a neural network evolution program that has simple rockets "learn" how to steer around obstacles. That I wrote in Java. I started off with Javascript, then Python, then started using Javascript again in combination with the HTML5 Canvas feature. I'm now trying to learn PHP and C++.

I started professionally programming in 1996. However, I dabbled with BASIC and Logo as a kid many eons ago. It's been amazing to see programming evolve and become more functionally capable, advanced, abundant, accessible, easier to learn, and, simply put, more enjoyable over the past 2 decades.
