How do code Java in my computer?

I have Android Studio installed but is there any alternative than that because i don't want to create a project , just code then run it. I also have Java Development Kit installed but i don't know how to use it, i can't find an option to create a new java program.

That is the problem, i don't know how to use JDK, can you tell me how to use it?

Download JDK and install it.

Then download any IDE like BlueJ or Netbeans or Ellipse or stuff and install it.
