Is swift very different from java?

I've got the basic programming knowledge..With what should I begin, learning java or swift?Also, as a beginners point of view, would be better to develope the android apps first or the iOS?

it's up to you i think difficulty is same and if you understand any one you can get the other easy later

Swift is very different from Java.

Start with Android (Java) if you have a PC and an Android device.

Start with iOS (Swift) if you have Mac and an iPhone device.
