@Mr. Singh: I see you already clarified you have learned PL/SQL. This is key when working with Oracle, which is different from other relational databases that support T-SQL.

That said, there is a lot more involved with being a DBA that goes beyond the scope of software development and more in server configurations, optimization strategies, and much much more.

Unfortunately, I only know what I know about DBA related tasks from many years of experience. That said, it's not a path I would have picked for myself. It lacks the software architectural and creative challenges I enjoy with programming. However, it's "different strokes for different folks," as the expression goes. 😉

My advice for research is to start with searching on Google and begin compiling a lot of links to relevant articles.
