Which programming language do companies prefer,and expect their employees to learn?

hi I am an ECE student from India and I would like to find which language has a vast scope and logically best

The top 3 are java, c and cpp, you generally cannot go wrong with them. But it depends a lot on the area you wanna work in (for web design it is the trinity, games development is different, machine learning etc) , geographics (e. g. in the past while python was a lot popular in USA, you had a hard times to use it in europe, but it is changing python is gaining, India might also have some specifications, in Europe .net is popular). In such wide range without any specification, you could write a book about it. Hard to tell. Maybe go through it with some experienced teacher at school.
