HTTPS Setup for website

Question

I have a website but I'd like to setup my website for secure connection for my users. As far as I know, I have an SSL certificate and it is valid but I don't know how to setup my HTTPS.

Help would really be appreciated, thanks. ☺

I managed to get it right but now that I solved my problem, I realise that my question wasn't clear on what I wanted.

I wanted my site to redirect to HTTPS whenever I visit it from any form of input. This includes http://example.com or http://www.example.com.

All I had to do in the end was add a simple rule to my .htaccess file and that was it. I'm setup now ☺

I think it will be too difficult to troubleshoot the problem here Michelle, this is not a good place for that. I do believe that I will figure it out though, I'm very persistent and usually get my way with problems like this. ☺ So I'll keep trying. Thanks again for everything.
