Could my learning technique work

what I want to do is have the fundamental certification first then play challenges all day until 8pm when I spend an hour on my computer programming. do you think this could work enough that I can get better at programming. comment if you have a different way for me to learn how to code progressively everyday. I know unity is a good option but I don't know if programming is what I want to do for the rest of my life

You'd probably be better off if you take the course then find another resource to expand your education, and instead of playing challenges all day and then coding for an hour flip that around an code all day and play challenges for an hour. The challenges will most likely not add to your education of programming much, but actually going through the motions and doing it will allow you to get familiar with your IDE, coding style, seeing common errors and learning how to solve problems and debug etc.

Well, since you had said you don't know if programming is what you want to do for the rest of your life I can say your current plan is just fine.

What you do is what you do, and honestly, I think that's a great strategy
