goto YouTube there a lot of tutorials on how to get started with android studio and android app design. it will be easy for you to learn by watching
Use stack overflow website if you have any doubt s.
developer.Google.com has beginner's guide I suggest you go through it.
I suggest don't wait until you entirely learn android... start making your app now and learn as you require..
before starting brush up on your java.

PS - if you also want to make your application for iOS and windows.. with visual studio with xamarian plugin you can make android, iOS and windows app using the same code.. but you may need to learn c# language.

my opinion in youtube mos of tutorials are about swing that is very old with stupid graphics old layouts try to use javafx is pretty sweet and you can use css to for better designs
