but how can linux be installed on arduino? It has very less space

linux on arduino is nonsense (apart from arduino yun). what modules do you need to use? Beware that if you're using the Arduino ide there is a level of abstraction from standard c++ programs.

yes you can, but sometimes need some custom driver to running unusually hardware. especially for windows

link for driver software? well you need to find it at google for your hardware, maybe you having luck to find it. but like i said before: you need custom driver for running special unusually hardware. easy way: maybe you want to install linux on your airduino? because linux is more powerful than windows. if you want to write your own driver for windows, its not easy task. ;) . example: if you want IR scanner driver for windows, maybe its available on google. but electrical motor will easy write in c++ if you using linux

what? you kidding me? linux is more smaller. try light version of linux. maybe you want to use light version of kali linux? its really useful for build a robot. but of course i cant tell you the installation steps. you need to find it on google.
