Python speakers in academia.

Question

Hey you all. After spending quite some considerable time on sololearn I just now realized that here are probably some of you guys working in academia; working with python. So, is there anyone in this community who is doing research or is working in the academic field?

For my part, I'm doing computational linguistics and started to teach beginners python for linguistic purposes.

I use python in academia and only for python I'm here. I have no clue about c++ and I don't need it at my current stage :)
