When and where can programmists first apply their skills to the real job, having no experience?
When and where can programmists first apply their skills to the real job, having no experience? And can a person do programming work, when he/she hasn't completed programming course fully yet?

1. Find vacancies, read description.
2. Make projects based on their description.
For example:
Junior PHP Developer.
Requirements: Symfony framework, PHP 5.6, Git, HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, MySQL.
Try to use these technologies in your project.
Ideas for a project: to-do list app, chat app, landing page, blog, online library, online store, game and etc.
If you don't know how to implement a certain idea try to find it on youtube and other tutorials.
3. Post your project on github.

I was an outsider too. But I created a github account, put there some projects that I made and included the link to my account on my resume. Then I was hired as a back end developer.

1. Why didn't you complete the programming course fully? If you have time to ask us questions, you have time to properly do your studies. Finish what you start.
2. If all you have is knowledge and no experience, then start creating programs and learning from that process. The more you create, and the more problems you run into, the better you become at it and naturally that's how you gain experience. The job-specific experience will come from being on the job.
Never miss an opportunity to learn something new or to learn something from someone else. Always pay attention.

I would recommend to apply for a job if you know more than just basics of your programming language. Some companies hire programmers with no experience and teach them on real projects. If you no experience and you start your career as a freelancer you will not learn anything.

Freelancer Programmer sites! These sites let you post your skills and experience for clients to see, and they can hire you for a job that applies to your skill set. You complete the job and get paid (either hourly or in full). Since it's the client's decision, they can hire you for high experience, low experience, whatever. I highly recommend Upwork.

P.S. You should still improve your skills so more people will hire you.

You need to make some projects? What kind?
Thank you in advance!

@Igor Makarsky Sorry because i ask again, but the projects are something random? or something in particular? i am a bit "desperate"... i mean i want at least to see if i know smth or not :(.... i read something over and over again... i know i should know more, but still not sure what to do to get in a small job as back-end dev...unpaid or whatever :) i will try the GitHub, but not sure what kind of projects i should do

@JonTay Yea, sometimes it seems like the site's database loses connection for a moment. It's far in between for me, but it happens now and then.
As for being dismissive to you, I'm not sure what you mean. If you're referring to the discussion about AI, then I wasn't being dismissive, merely letting you know that I have faith in God's creatures and the image that he created them in. If anything, I'm the only one that gave your reply the attention that it rightfully deserved. I respect your opinion that you had, but since we were debating/discussing, it's only natural that I shared my own opinion on your thoughts, which I imagine is why you made the post to begin with, no? If nothing more, I suppose we could at least agree that God is an amazing programmer and doesn't make mistakes. ;)
Either way, if I offended you or came off as dismissive of your perspective, then I apologize for that and I'll do my best to be more mindful.
